The scope is the same for every size; bigger vehicles take longer, which is what the size price pays for. Cloth seats are shampooed in the premium detail. Why the screen-safe cleaner: Ford advises avoiding "products containing bleach or hydrogen peroxide, as well as ammonia-based products", which "can damage anti-glare and anti-fingerprint coatings" (Ford of Europe).
Car deep cleaning: what a full detail removes
A wash takes off what sits loose on the car. A full detail also removes what a wash leaves behind:
- Contamination bonded to the paint: iron fallout and tar dissolved, then clay lifts what is still stuck, before the sealant goes on.
- Dirt worked into carpets and mats: shampooed and extracted with Koch-Chemie Pol Star.
- Grime on leather: cleaned with GYEON LeatherCleaner, then conditioned.
- Dust in vents, seams and seat rails: brushed out and air-purged.
It finishes with a Gtechniq C2 spray sealant on the paint. Cloth seats are shampooed in the premium detail; for the cabin alone, cloth seats included, book the deep interior.
Not included, and where it lives
- Swirls and light scratches in the paint: polishing, not washing, in paint correction.
- Years of gloss and easier washing: ceramic coating.
- Hair woven into the carpet: pet hair removal; a smoke or pet smell: car odor removal.

- Water and power: we bring both.
- Where the car is parked: a driveway, a garage, a private lot or the street. The crew lays a water-capture mat under the car and uses its own water, so nothing reaches the gutter or the storm drain, and your hose is never used.
- Water rules: in the City of Los Angeles, LADWP requires a self-closing shut-off nozzle on any hose and allows no runoff onto streets, driveways or gutters (LADWP), and LAMC 64.70.02 B.1 bars untreated wastewater from "mobile commercial or industrial operations" from the storm drain system (LAMC). Other cities set their own rules; we use the same method everywhere.

Can you detail my car before I sell it, return a lease or after I buy it used?
Yes; a full detail is the usual booking for all three. For a lease return, book before the inspection: Toyota Financial Services, for one, counts "a single cut, tear, burn or stain greater than the size of a credit card" as excess wear (Toyota). A detail lifts removable stains; tears and burns need repair. Yellow lenses? Add headlight restoration.
Is my car too dirty for a full detail?
No car is too dirty to book. Everyday dirt, crumbs, normal pet hair and ordinary stains are part of the full detail. Heavy mud or beach sand adds the heavy-soil add-on ($59), and mold or a biohazard spill is priced from a photo before you book.
