Fleet and dealership cleaning FAQ
How much does mobile fleet washing cost per vehicle in Los Angeles?
Fleet washes are $79 per car and $109 per cargo van, with no minimum per visit; with an interior refresh, $119. Dealer lot washes are $49 per vehicle. The price depends on vehicle size, condition and how often we come; the full menu is on car detailing prices in Los Angeles.
Can you wash our company cars at the office in Los Angeles?
Yes, in your lot or garage while staff work, with the building's OK for the space, the level and gate access. Crews bring water and power, and each car is washed on a water-capture mat with our own water, so nothing reaches the storm drain. The company pays one invoice, or employees pay per car.
Who offers fleet washing for company vehicles in Los Angeles?
We do, across LA County outside the Antelope Valley, plus Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley, for cars, SUVs, pickups and cargo vans at your lot, office, garage or the street where they park. Whoever you hire, ask four things: the price per vehicle, how wash water is kept out of the storm drain, whether their insurance covers your vehicles while they are in their care (ours does), and a photo log per vehicle.
Do you clean rideshare vehicles?
Yes. Drivers book a weekly slot through the mobile car wash subscription, $476 a month on the weekly plan, at home or in their building's garage; operators with several cars get a fleet account. Smoke or food smells: odor removal. Teslas: Tesla car wash.
Can you run a car wash day for our employees in the office garage?
Yes. The company signs up the site and the building approves the space and access; employees book a wash, maintenance detail or full detail from a link and collect the car clean at the end of the day. The company pays one invoice per wash day, employees pay at booking, or you split it; there is no minimum number of cars.
Do you clean dealership showrooms, or only the cars?
Only the vehicles: lot washes, delivery details and reconditioning. For showroom floors, offices and restrooms, a janitorial company is the right call. We work before opening and log every unit by stock number.
Is it legal to wash fleet cars in our parking lot in Los Angeles?
Here are the rules. In the City of LA, the storm-drain ban exempts only "non commercial car washing by residents or by non-profit organizations" (LAMC 64.70.03); commercial operators may not let untreated wash water reach the storm drain (LAMC 64.70.02), and LADWP requires shut-off nozzles and no runoff. So we wash each vehicle on a water-capture mat with our own water, and nothing reaches the gutter.
Can you wash vans with company graphics or a full wrap?
Yes, by hand where possible and within the film maker's limits. For 3M graphic films that means no more than 1,200 psi, a 40° or wider tip with a guard at least 12 inches away, and no stream at the edges. 3M also says to check every graphic for edge lifting after washing; we do, and we report any lifting to you.
More about Fleet & Business Washing
Car dealership cleaning services: lot wash, delivery and recon details
We clean the vehicles on your lot, not the building. For showroom floors, restrooms and offices, you need a janitorial company. For the inventory, treat every unit like the one on the showroom floor.
Lot wash, before you open
- Front-line and back-lot inventory, washed rinseless or by hand, with the glass cleaned and tires dressed.
- After a fire day, ash comes off wet, never wiped dry. LA County Public Health: rinse with a gentle spray, then a mild detergent, and "Avoid scrubbing dry ash, as it can scratch paint" (Public Health).
- City of LA water is hard: LADWP's 2022 zone averages were 8.6 grains per gallon in the San Fernando Valley and Western LA, 9.8 in Silver Lake, Downtown and South LA, and 16.3 in Eastern LA and the Harbor, all above LADWP's 7 gpg line (LADWP). So every car is dried by hand, never left to air-dry into spots.
Lot wash $49 per vehicle; no minimum per visit.
Delivery detail for sold units
Exterior and interior detail so the car is handed over looking new: a hand wash, iron decontamination, glass, a Gtechniq C2 sealant (mobile car wax service), and the interior vacuumed and wiped, scheduled against your delivery calendar. Buyers can add ceramic coating, paint protection film or window tint through you, quoted per car, with the maker's warranty registered to the car by the installer.
Delivery detail $199.
Reconditioning detail for trade-ins
A deep interior with stains and pet hair, and an odor removal treatment for smoke or odor; the engine bay; and a one-step polish for light swirls. Repairs are quoted per unit after a walk-round: headlight restoration, paint correction beyond a one-step, and paintless dent repair for door dings.
Reconditioning detail $599; repairs quoted per unit.
Keys are signed out and back through your key control, and we never move a car without your porter or your written OK. Wash water on a dealer lot is regulated: see the LA rules we follow.
Fleet washing for company cars, vans and pickups
We wash where the vehicles already park (a yard, an office lot, a garage) while they are parked: before shifts, overnight or during the workday. Nobody drives to a wash. Sales and executive cars get the same hand method as a private client's car. Service and delivery vans, delivery-service vans included, get an exterior wash and a cab refresh: a lettered van is your advert, which is the reason to wash it on a schedule. Odors in shared vehicles: odor removal.
Vans with vinyl graphics or a full wrap are washed to the film maker's limits. 3M's maintenance bulletin (December 2024) says hand washing is best and sets these limits for any pressure washing (3M):
- No more than 1,200 psi.
- A 40° or wider nozzle with a tip guard.
- At least 12 inches from the film and perpendicular to it (90° ± 10), or at least 39 inches away at 60° or more.
- 140°F or less if the water is heated.
- Never a stream between 0° and 60° at a graphic's edge.
- No washing within 72 hours of installation.
- After the wash, every graphic checked for edge lifting, and any lifting reported to you, not sprayed over.
3M's limits cover 3M graphic films; other makers publish their own, so we ask which film is on the van. Need new fleet graphics? See car wrap.
We wash cars, SUVs, pickups and cargo vans. Tractor-trailers, trailer washouts and buses are not part of the program.
Fleet wash $79 per car and $109 per cargo van; with an interior refresh, $119. Work trucks and SUVs: see trucks and SUVs.
Car wash amenity for apartment and condo buildings
Residents book washes and details on set days in the building's garage and pay at booking; the building gets the amenity without running it.
- What the building approves: bays or a corner of a level, the days, and gate access.
- Water: nothing reaches the garage drains or the street. LA's storm-drain ban conditionally exempts only "Non commercial car washing by residents or by non-profit organizations" (LAMC 64.70.03 A.2(f)); we wash commercially, so we never rely on it. Each car is washed on a water-capture mat with the crew's own water, never the building's hose.
- House rules: we follow the building's rules on hours and noise.
Residents pay per car, from $119; for a standing slot, the mobile car wash subscription.

Washing on your lot or in your garage: the LA rules we follow
| Rule | What it says | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| LAMC 64.70.03 A and A.2(f) (City Clerk) | No non-stormwater discharges to the storm drain; the car-washing exemption covers only "Non commercial car washing by residents or by non-profit organizations" | We wash for pay, so we never rely on that exemption: our wash water is kept out of the drain |
| LAMC 64.70.02 B.1 and B.2 (LAMC) | For anyone performing commercial activities: no untreated wastewater from "mobile commercial or industrial operations", and no untreated runoff with grease, oil, antifreeze or other vehicle fluids, into the storm drain system | Wash water is contained and collected, not left to drain; leaking units are flagged, not hosed down |
| LAMC 64.70.02 B.5(a) and (b) (LAMC) | No untreated wash water from "gas stations, auto repair garages, or from other types of automotive facilities", and no untreated runoff from washing impervious surfaces | Every vehicle is washed on a water-capture mat with our own water, wherever it is parked |
| LADWP permanent prohibitions (LADWP) | "No washing vehicles without using a hose with a self-closing water shut-off nozzle"; "No runoff onto streets, driveways, and gutters"; no watering of hard surfaces such as parking areas | Shut-off nozzles on every hose; nothing leaves the mat |
| EPA stormwater practice for fleet washing (EPA) | Outside a plumbed wash bay, for a small job, "use a bermed wash area and capture the wash water with a wet/dry vacuum for discharge to a sanitary sewer"; for larger jobs, berms and a vacuum truck | A water-capture mat under each vehicle, and the collected water leaves with the crew |
Why it matters: the LA Regional Water Board notes that stormwater "in most cases" flows "directly to water bodies through separate storm sewer systems" (Water Board). These are the City of LA's rules; other cities' water suppliers set their own, and we follow the stricter one.
